An exhibition showcasing beautiful Ajrakh block printed textiles by National Award Winner, Abdulrauf Khatri and traditional Kutchi handwoven textiles by renowned weaver Vankar Murji Hamir.

Vankar Murji Hamir from Bhujodi in Kutch descends from a fine lineage of master weavers. His skill and love for his craft made him move from being a struggling independent artist to a renowned artisan designer.

Abdulrauf Khatri is an Indian National Award Winner Ajrakh Block Printer comes from a family famous for their Ajrakh block prints on textile using natural dyes. His work has been showcased in many exhibitions like The International Folk Art Market, in Santa Fe among others.

Also on display will be jewellery by Sanskara Designs that reflect the spirit of Kutch and textiles inspired by the embroideries, prints and weaves of Kutch by The Far East Art Studio.

Textile lovers can also take part in printing and weaving workshops by the visiting artists, tickets for which need to be purchased online in advance.
