The Bhavan Giving Programme

The Bhavan is a registered charity training over 800 students of Indian Classical Music, Dance and Languages each week. By making a donation your generous support helps us to bring Indian culture to students and audiences across the UK.

All our classes are subsidised and we need to raise over £1 million each year to continue our work. The support of donors and patrons is vital in enabling us to take Indian Arts to the widest possible audience.

If you are passionate about Indian culture and want to find out what happens behind the scenes at the UK’s premiere Indian Arts training and performance conservatoire, please choose one of our support levels below and join our family.

Other Ways to Support Us

Bequests & Wills

Gifts from bequests and wills are a vital source of income for our work. They help us to continue our work, be open to all with an interest in Indian Culture, maintain costs of our building, produce world-class arts and culture, deliver inspiring education and strengthen community.

No matter how large or small, bequests are enormously important to us, not only ensuring a wonderful way of enabling us to support the next generation of artistic talent, but also enshrining a permanent legacy with The Bhavan.

As The Bhavan is a registered charity, no Inheritance Tax is payable on the amount of your Legacy gift. There are two main ways to support The Bhavan in your Will:
  • A set sum (Pecuniary Bequest)
  • Proportion of your estate (Residuary Bequest)

Should you decide to remember The Bhavan in your Will, please let us know, so that we can thank you for your generosity and keep you, or someone close to you, informed and involved with our activities.

All information you supply will be treated in the strictest confidence and does not involve you in any binding commitment.
You should consult an Accountant or Financial Planner to asses Inheritance Tax benefits.

To discuss making a donation through your will please contact Patrick Holden via email on patrick@bhavan.net. All enquiries are treated in strict confidence.

Corporate Sponsorship & Brands
